Mouthwash
If your dentist detects substantial decay between regular visits, he or she recommend over-the-counter fluoride rinses or a prescription strength fluoride rinse, toothpaste and/or gel. Gel can be used on your normal toothbrush, or in some several cases, it can be used in conjunction with fluoride trays that are worn for five minutes prior to retiring at night. Your dentist will recommend the method most appropriate for you.
