牙根程序 Root Canal Procedure

First Visit:

• Access opening into tooth
• Destroyed pulp in pulp chamber and root canals
• File used to remove dead pulp debries and bacteria
• Medicament
  

Second Visit:

• Examine by X-Rays to ensure the instruments go exactly to the end of the root and not beyond root.
• Paper point to absorb moisture.

Third/Last Visit:

• Fill with Gutta Percha points
• Sealed root canal
• Crown

*** As a general rule, all root filled molar teeth should be restored with a crown or a restoration covering the whole tooth.
This may or may not require a post.
